Long-Form Content Writing Services for B2B SaaS and Ecommerce Brands

Long-form content writing

I write long-form content for B2B SaaS, ecommerce, and technology companies.

That includes SEO articles, product-led content, deep-dive guides, thought leadership, case studies, original research, and editorial pieces where the subject needs enough space to be handled properly.

I can work from an existing brief or handle the research, interviews, structure, and writing too.

The length should come from the work the piece needs.

I do not think a topic becomes better because it reaches 2,000 or 3,000 words.

Some subjects need depth. A buyer comparing several products needs enough information to understand the differences. A technical guide may need context before the steps make sense. A customer story needs enough detail to show what changed. A research report needs room for the methodology, findings, and implications.

That is where long-form content makes sense.

Long-form content writing services

01

Long-form SEO articles

Guides, explainers, how-tos, category content, and other search-led pieces that need more than a quick answer.

02

Product-led content

Articles built around real product workflows, features, screenshots, use cases, examples, and buyer questions.

03

Thought leadership

Articles built around an actual point of view from a founder, executive, operator, or subject-matter expert.

04

Case studies and customer stories

Interview-led stories covering the problem, decision, implementation, results, and details that make the customer’s experience useful.

05

Original research

Reports and articles built from surveys, internal data, interviews, analysis, experiments, or other information your company owns.

06

Editorial deep dives

Longer pieces that need reporting, multiple sources, background, examples, and more narrative work than a standard search article.

More words are not the point.

A long piece still needs to justify the space it takes up.

I look for the material that gives the article depth: original interviews, stronger research, specific examples, product context, screenshots, customer evidence, first-party data, competing viewpoints, and clearer explanations.

If a section does not help the reader understand the subject, I would rather cut it than keep it because competing articles happen to have one.

Customer interviews

How I approach a long-form assignment

01

I understand the assignment

I start with the reader, the subject, the product, the business objective, and what somebody should understand by the end of the piece.

02

I decide what research it needs

Some assignments need a few strong sources. Others need product access, interviews, datasets, documentation, academic papers, or a wider reporting process.

03

I build the structure

I use the outline to settle the argument, evidence, examples, interview material, product context, and the places where the reader needs more explanation.

04

I draft around the strongest material

The useful material should carry the piece. That can be a finding, quote, product workflow, customer story, dataset, example, or a clearer explanation of something competitors keep glossing over.

05

I revise

I check whether the piece makes sense on the first read, where it drags, whether the sourcing is solid, and whether the whole article still holds together.

I can handle the reporting before the draft too.

I can interview customers, founders, operators, subject-matter experts, or internal teams when the assignment needs original input.

That can be especially useful for thought leadership, case studies, research-heavy articles, and subjects where everybody else is repeating the same publicly available information.

For product-heavy assignments, I also like enough access to understand how the product actually works before I write about it.

Long-form content writing FAQs

How long is long-form content?

There is no useful universal cutoff. Many long-form assignments run above 1,500 words, but I would rather let the subject and the scope determine the length than pad a piece to reach a number.

Do you write B2B SaaS long-form content?

Yes. B2B SaaS makes up a large part of my portfolio, including product-led content, guides, comparisons, alternatives pages, software roundups, and research-heavy articles.

Can you interview subject-matter experts or customers?

Yes. I can handle interviews when the piece needs original experience, customer language, examples, expert commentary, or a stronger narrative.

Can you work from our existing brief?

Yes. I can work inside an existing brief and content workflow or handle the research and structure when that is part of the scope.

Do you write thought leadership?

Yes. I can interview the person behind the piece, identify the strongest argument, and build the article around their actual point of view.

Do you write original research?

Yes. I can help turn surveys, internal data, interviews, first-party analysis, or other original material into a report or article.

Do you offer ongoing long-form content support?

Yes. I work on individual assignments and ongoing content engagements.

Need a long-form piece with real research behind it?

Send me the topic, brief, rough idea, existing article, interview notes, or research material. I can look at the scope and work out what the piece needs.
